1. When should I expect to receive my first paycheck?
You will receive your first paycheck 4 to 6 weeks after you start working. The first check will be mailed to the mailing address provided in the New Hire paperwork. After that, checks may be received either by mail or by direct deposit, if you have requested this option.
2. When will I receive my welcome email from RFCUNY?
You will receive your welcome email within two weeks after attending the New Hire Orientation. The welcome email will inform you that your New Hire paperwork has been processed and will contain your six digit employee ID number.
3. What is an employee ID number?
After RFCUNY has processed your New Hire paperwork, you will receive an email with your employee ID number attached. You will use your employee ID number to create your RFCUNY account. Once you create the account, you'll be able to set up for direct deposit and view your paystubs.
4. If I am locked out of my RFCUNY account, who should I contact?
If you get locked out of your RFCUNY account, please email [email protected].
5. I lost my paycheck; how long does it take me to receive another one?
If you lost your paycheck, please notify your FP campus representative. Your FP representative will notify RFCUNY and they will issue a replacement check. The replacement can take up to 7-10 days to be reissued to you.
6. What is RFCUNY Mandatory Training (i.e., Sexual Harassment Prevention Training)?
As a condition of employment, and as required by State and City law, all RFCUNY employees are required annually to complete mandatory training, including harassment prevention training. Employees who fail to comply with this requirement within the allotted time will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including suspension without pay, until such time as they complete this legal requirement.
